“We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.” -Buddha
In the most powerful sense for me, Self-Creation is about enlightenment. It is about “making the world” through our thoughts, words, and actions. It is about creating the best we know and can imagine through outward expression. It is about becoming the best human being we can, no matter what we do or create. It is about continuing to evolve and understand ourselves and our lives, even in the professional everyday world.
We have so much influence, especially with online media. We can alter reality and create a future beyond comprehension. We have the power to create whatever reality we want for ourselves, and most people do not recognize they have this power. They do the expected work, put in the expected time, and make things work. They give what is taught to them and never fully grasp the power they have with the internet.
We all have a true nature wanting to be expressed. Even the businesses and organizations we create, have their own true nature. We have talents, abilities, characteristics, and passions we want to live and realize. We want to achieve. We want to accomplish great things. Life can offer us so many obstacles and struggles. It likes to throw all kinds of challenges our way. After climbing so many mountains, wading through so many rivers, and exhausting ourselves to the point of collapse, we wonder what we are even trying to do anymore. But then, Self-Creation puts us back in touch with what matters, with who we are, and what we wanted in the first place. Self-Creation is a reminder of why we continue, even when it seems like we are not making progress. It is what keeps us on target.
Create the best you know. Create the best you can imagine.
I want to be the best in my life. Not the best in comparison to other people, but the best in myself. I want to create the best I can imagine, and I do this through outward expression. My thoughts, my words, my actions and my behaviors allow me to fully step into my own true nature. To see it, know it, embrace it, and live it to the point of losing myself in it. I no longer even think about it, it just exists like I do.
This is the ultimate ideal for me with Self-Creation in promotions. So often we are taught to separate spiritual life and inclination from our everyday professional life. I do not subscribe to that. To me, they are always interwoven, even when we try to separate them. Your true nature as a human being, always finds expression in your daily life. I want that to happen. Groundwork Promotions wants to enable this, “to be a source of good in the world,” that is Paul’s motto. How do we do this? We work to help you “create the best version of yourself and of your work.” We support you in “creating the best you can imagine in your professional life.” And in return, we get to live our best version and create the best we can imagine in our relationship with you.
