“To be what we are, and to become what we are capable of becoming, is the only end of life.”
– Robert Louis Stevenson
We talk a lot at Groundwork Promotions about “becoming who you are meant to be.” We love enabling this for our clients in the promotions process. But there is something I have experienced over the past 2 1/2 years, and it was unexpected and is still in process, and it expands my own view of what is possible with Self-Creation. It is coming face-to-face with someone you do not even know or recognize. It is seeing a potential and reality within yourself, you never even knew existed. It is realizing that potential fully, unhindered. It is fully awakening who you are and were born to be, and allowing it to guide everything.
This would be the ultimate goal in my own Self-Creation process. To activate and enliven the unrealized and unknown potentials within myself. To not just become who I “thought I was meant to be,” but to eliminate all blocks from my thinking and actually find out what I am capable of, and who I really am inside. I know that I have not even seen my full potential yet. I just don’t know it. I have spent years trying to adjust myself to the expectations and comfort of the outside world, and you cannot succeed in business and in your professional life by doing this. You especially cannot succeed internally. I would like to use Self-Creation to bring me into the awareness of my own potential. I want to see it, know it, and make it happen. To live it in the fullest way possible, in everything I do.
