We have worked with many ambitious people over the years. The challenge I find watching everyone and being ambitious myself is: How do you accomplish the things you want and stay healthy mentally and physically? How do you be a successful business person without giving up your health?
We have such talented clients who build successful businesses and want their own brand to be well-known. They want to be online, create, share their work and build a following. They want to be creative, artistic, and special in what they provide. They want to be a dominant force in their market. At the same time, they want private lives. They want healthy bodies, and healthy minds. When I think about all the things I want to do and accomplish, and then I look at my preferred lifestyle, I feel like I cannot have both. I feel like there are limits to what I can handle without giving up my health. I often wonder, is there a way to be ambitious and a dominant force, without sacrificing health and well-being?
I know working with the clients we do, I am often amazed and inspired by all their dedication, creativity, and insistence on their best form daily. They work hard, very hard. You can see it, you can hear it when you talk to them. They care about what they do. Which is why we ALWAYS want them to succeed. We want to give them the support, the services, the tools and the guidance to be successful. We want to make them feel, when it comes to their marketing and promotions online, that they can relax and know everything is taken care of. They are always taken care of.
Groundwork Promotions is ambitious. We want to create and accomplish a lot, and we want to be a dominant force in what we do. We want to be innovative, and reach our best form individually and as a company. But we are also ambitious when it comes to our health and personal lives. Both Paul and I are still learning and paying attention to everyone we work with. We want to master the art of ambition, while also mastering the art of relaxation and protecting our health. And when it comes to the question about whether both are possible, we do not want to accept “no” for an answer.
