Continuation of Grappling With The Data
Once we interview you and come up with a plan, we then create media for you. We create visual content. We do this most often in the form of photography and videos, but we also play with other forms as well. We have a specific philosophy when it comes to visual content, and it has to do with the idea of Self-Creation.
Most people walk around day-to-day with ideas swirling around in their minds. They have so many thoughts and viewpoints, and so many creative ideas. They work hard to express them, but owning a business, taking care of employees, staff, running day-to-day operations, accounting, keeping everyone safe and protected, and dealing with the normal everyday problems, you don’t get to bring your ideas out and make them a reality. They stay lodged inside and don’t find expression. So we use visual media to help you.
Our visual content is a form of communication and is guided by three primary purposes:
- Achieving Your Goals: We capture media to make your goals reality.
- Creating You: We tell your story and make you (your business, organization, employees, staff) look their best.
- Creating the Future: We use media to create your vision and make it real.
Most of us need reinforcement. We need alignment. We need something or someone to help us remember. We have an incredible vision of who we want to be and what we are trying to create, but we forget. We lose touch with ourselves and others around us. I see visual content strategically as an opportunity to remember. Media creation allows us to see and hear what we are forgetting in our daily routines. It allows us to bring out our ideas, to reinforce our goals, and focus on our vision. It allows us to align ourselves to the future we are creating.

Media creation also helps staff, employees, customers, clientele, members, donors and followers to understand you, who you are, and what you are working to accomplish. It allows them to engage and create community. It allows everyone to participate in the marketing and promotions process, which means they are helping to create a preferred reality together. Visual media is co-creation by everyone involved.
At a deeper level, media creation allows you to be influenced and altered by yourself. You get to hear your thoughts, see yourself and what you do and create day-to-day. We forget where we came from, how much work we put in, what we have accomplished, and where we are going. We forget who we are inside and how it led to where we are now. So personal development, professional evolution, and creative expression all benefit from media creation with Groundwork Promotions.
