Both Paul and I have athletic backgrounds and feel an affinity to athletes and physical training. We both are in love with the warrior mindset and incorporating it into everything we do. As Groundwork Promotions, we have been in business for over 12 years and have spent several of those years learning to capture athletes and athletic training. Some of our best clients offer classes and personal training in fitness, competitive sports and athletic training. We have worked with martial arts, MMA, bodybuilding, boxing, kickboxing, cross training, yoga, triathletes, swimming and underwater fitness. We consider athletic training, competition, and fitness to be an area of specialization now.
Today Paul and I were discussing messaging for this aspect of our business. We want to highlight our own vision on the website, especially as we transition to our new name and presentation (the new website will be ready by the end of summer 2025). I asked for his thoughts about how to describe this process and what it means to him. He shared that he wants our work to create a situation where our clients see the best in themselves and/or create the best in themselves. Where they even see things they never knew existed. His exact words were “What is beautiful and unique about them.”
I am still thinking about Paul’s ideas and how Groundwork can use them as guideposts in our work with athletes and the fitness industry. Most of his phrases are powerful enough when spoken, but when we capture them with visual content in photography and video, and in written content with social media postings, websites, marketing and advertising, we can inspire, enhance and alter the lives of everyone involved.
