I often think about balance. How do we balance a personal life, a professional life, and a physical training life? Our company works with many teachers, coaches, and instructors in the fitness industry, who also own their business and who are married and have children. I wonder as I get older, how do you do it? You get into fitness for a reason, and then you try to maintain a successful work life and still train. I’m in my 50s (and I was a champion and competitive athlete in college) and have not figured out how to do it.
The biggest question for me, as I return to my own Self-Creation Process is: How can I be successful in my professional life and my physical training and be successful with (and maintain) both? How can I be healthy in what I eat, what I think, and what I do, while creating a successful business? And how can I be a creative person daily, how I can I live passionately, how can I invest in a successful professional life and still maintain my training, especially at an older age? I don’t have the answer.
So, this is the big problem I am trying to solve in the Self-Creating Process. This is where I want to find my potential. This is what I want to master. I do not want to feel that I have to choose between my success as a professional and my physical training and health. I want them both.
